Yes, but that's about it.
Well, actually I do have an advantage once the M73 is installed because that engine runs on 3.5bar fuel pressure while the M70 has only 3bar. With these FPRs I can easily adjust it.

Some alternative thoughts:

1- It's possible that the engine cover, oil drip catcher, and rubber gasket against the hood are meant to channel an accelerated air flow from the fan directly across the top of the engine and down the bell housing.

This is what I was thinking. Totally thinking about removing it. Anybody witness any negative effects from ditching the cover?

I keep mine off for the most part and haven’t had any issues.

It's a shame the M60 doesn't look very interesting without the acoustic cover...
