No that is what I was quoted for a small run less than 25 yards. Not interested in profiting at all off this. I just want 5-7 yards for myself and need a sample to getting going. SMS is one of the best interior restoration shops around and they would make it perfect. I am happy to buy a sample of black rain from anyone. I need it to finish off my 95 M3

I would be running 100+ yards to help drive the price down. and that is the same people I would be going with.

Was able to snag a very large sample of the black rain material (read full bottom and top rear seat). Was a hefty sum though.

I would LOVE the zig zag pattern for my car!
What are the chances of it getting reproduced? Just the black rain pattern?

Get me a sample. Price will be reflected by demand. Would have to have deposits to get the price pretty low. If not, it will range in the $100-150 per yard.

if I had it my way... I'd redo my interior like this. Except I'd ditch my vaders and do Recaro speeds or maybe Pole Positions.

And instead of leather bolsters, I'd probably do alcantara.

Would do great with those with dove interiors, grey dash, grey/dove door cards etc.

shop received the sample I sent. Producing a sample of the weave as we speak. Color will be nailed down after that. Looks promising.

Hmmm, I'm thinking this would be a good project for my tax return...

    Any updates?

I spoke with the owner of the company 2 wks ago and he said it was still with his in house designer. They are analyzing each fiber on how it overlays on each other. Sounds crazy to me but it seems they pay extreme attention to detail.

Reminds me in Coneheads when Beldar's daughter asks why they hadn't completed the work on the car in the time they had quoted and the mechanic says "maybe because I was out back finishing a six pack."

I've heard of all kinds of excuses, some are legit, but many are just that. Hopefully they really need extra time to pay attention to the details and aren't just being lazy.

I have no doubt in my mind he is being honest. He told me from the beginning, his work is unmatched but he takes his damn time. He says that is the only complaint he has received. This guy does stuff for high profile cars and people, like Jay Leno.

These fabrics all look great, but many of them only show the pattern and not the fabric texture. Are there any up-close photos of the fabric, that show the weave/texture that someone can post. I'd appreciate it.

Hello. Any update on this? What's is the expected timeline for fabric to be produced? Also, forgive my ignorance, but a bunch of patterns with even more names have been discussed. Which pattern(s) is(are) being produced? Finally, has a target price per yard been set yet?

    Thanks,

    Eric
