Yeah ur right i went back and looked at the pics and it wasn't as clean as i remember. I also checked my hurricane panels and the fabric looks to be the same composition as the fabric i had so i dunno.

Ok Im in at buying some let me know when this goes down!
"Lamborghini, the tractor maker, wanted to figure out why his Ferrari's clutch kept crapping out (PITA, cost a lot of money). He complained to Ferrari, and Enzo didn't do anything. Lamborghini discovered it was the same, much cheaper clutch used in his tractors. The rest is history..."

pointless comment. Nathan is trying to help the community by having this NLA fabric reproduced to help those that have either worn fabric seats or for those you cant find or dont have the option for m fabric seats (sedan peoples)

The '95 M3s with the same cloth design have a different interior code, 0470 (B4AT). The patterns look identical, but why the different interior codes?

because they are sport seats and not vaders as well as the 94's came with matching door panels while the 95 m3's just leather

I don't think seat type has anything to do with the interior code. The coupe/sedan/vert all share the same interior code and the seats are different styles in each one. Hmmm, but I guess it could be due to the door cards.

Check this out... I was looking through my database and found an Individual '95 which requested M-cloth as an option. In that build sheet, the M-Cloth is referred to as "Terminal grey" and references the B4TT interior code.

So it's not Rain or Hurricane... its Terminal grey?

I'm stoked I found this thread! I'd definitely be in to purchase enough fabric to re-do my interior!

Question: Since I know the e36 rain/hurricane fabrics are NLA, I've been trying to find the e46 motorsport alcantara fabric to re-do the center portion of my vaders in and then have the bolsters done in dark alcantara. Does anyone know if this fabric is still available or is it also NLA? I think it'd look awesome on vaders!

Ok. So I am willing to help. I am in Portland or and SMS auto fabrics is 45 minutes from me. They are one of the best auto interior shops out there. They will custom match any interior fabric at $100 a yard. They can custom weave anything we need. www.smsautofabrics.com if you want to send me a sample I am happy to run it down to them and get the ball rolling.

Pretty sure all the Mtech II cloth is gone now.. I think it was a member on R3V selling it. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=264412

OP, would be very interested in getting a few yards to do the centers of some recaro's and door cards if you end up producing the black rain or m-cross

Thank you for the tip. I am grateful to have been able to have picked up 5 yards of Erik Johnson's reproduction m-tech II fabric. Although it was an e30 option, it is at least available now (although maybe not much longer). I'll be using it with my e36 vaders and likely some gray Alcantara/micro suede.

I'm still interested in finding out if/when you might get the black rain 0506 fabric reproduced and for how much, but I'm on the clock now as this project will be happening over the next couple of months.

    Again, thanks for the tip!
