Favorite build thread on the E39 section to date. Needs some Rotiform SJC's though.

so stoked to see more updates on this thing!
Wish I had the fun updates. But since there are no TR6060's in stock, it may be a while. I'm dead set on the TR6060 over the T56.
I plan on installing the lights tomorrow eve though. And will take some pix of the sway bar parts this eve.
By the way why did you choose the Murano's over say FX-R's or LS460's or EVOX-R's?

I wanted OEM. And I wanted to save some money. The Murano's seem to be the best kept secret in the retrofit world.

The chassis must always be regarded as a means to an end and never as an end itself
You have to call. They have a section near the bottom that says they get random projectors all the time and call for current inventory.
Thanks, Clay. Here is a pic of the angel eyes finished. I just decided to paint the top. Going to finish and install these tomorrow evening.
My friend is getting me a killer deal since he is a distributor so I want to see what he comes back with first. But if all else fails, I will call them. Thanks!
Also including a picture of the monster 1.25" sway bar that Josh suggested

We couldn't get a 12v source for parking lights. The ambers only run 2v. The high beam connector didn't seem to show voltage as DRL's either. Odd.
Also ran into a few other problems. I had the horizontal alignment perfect until I put the clear plastic lens on and then something changed. Going to have to open them back up. Also had issues with the whole inner housing that the projector is attached to shaking around inside when you shut the doors etc. Oddly it didn't do it while driving home though. Either way, I want to work on making that more secure.
The fitment of these lights in the car are great. And we hooked up the angel eyes. Which IMO are a little brighter than I expected, but not too bad. I think they will grow on me. Color is nice. Very white with a hint of blue. Will look a lot better when I install Osram Xenarc CBI's which are 5000k.
Amazing work on those headlights. Looks awesome! Your photography skills are excellent, too. Aww yeah!

Finished them up for the most part. I hope to get some output shots this eve. I bet the double highs with the bi-xenons will be sick. The only thing left to do is find a constant 12v source when the car is running for the bright angel eye function.
I took the easy way out and went with a relay harness that's made for the E46. Modified it to work with the E39 plus I have the lock/unlock function as well.

Do the fogs get a constant 12v when the car is on even when they are switched off?
those lights are amazing!
Dude these lamps are really amazing Can you tell me if this is the original lamp after lift or some other because I see that you can easily separate the glass from the rest of the lamp.
These are aftermarket lights. But opening them up is the same as OEM unless you have late 02-03. I have read those cannot be opened up.
I baked them in the oven at 200 degrees F for about 10 minutes to soften the adhesive. Then I carefully split the plastic lens from the housing and used a razor blade to cut the adhesive as it stretched.
