Final shot.
I think this should be next. F a S/C'er if this is reasonably priced.

I wish I could do this legally in California. :/
I'd probably go with an LSA E-Rod engine, but yours is totally unmatched. Also, LOVE the DSC light sticker, makes me chuckle deviously everytime I see it.
If I wasn't trying to buy a house in CA, I'd do it in a second. :P
I love your car man ))))))))
Wow.
Love the car, love the thread, love the garage, love the house.
You are the man.
And this:
actually made me laugh out loud.
Thanks!!!
I should have some really cool updates by the end of the weekend. All I can say is that it's custom built and super awesome
I am going to play around with the rear spring rates a little too. I realized my car now has 12k/8k springs front/rear which is causing a little bounciness in the rear. Trying 10k's in the rear and got new rear lower perches with the longer stud. Before, I had used E46 perches and the stud wasn't long enough to go all the way through the nut. Can't wait to post the new updates with photos
Oh boy....

Now that is American Bimmer!
lololololol!!! Awesome. Thanks for doing that with the wheel since I have actually looked at those Vossen's before. I really want the HRE P101's but am not dropping $8k on wheels.
Just noticed the watermark too. Well done!!

I could do a pic with the HRE's. What finish do you like? Dark gloss? Matte? Silver?

Matte gunmetal probably. I also like these.

Wow!!! Those are great. You are good at this I think I found my last two realistic choices if you get bored. The ARC-8 and the PS-7 both in a light gunmetal. I think the color of the HRE you did looks better than the Rotiform wheel. I really appreciate it, helps me a ton in my decision process. I wish those P101's weren't so pricey.

No problem at all! Once the template is set it takes only 2 minutes to change the style! I really like the PS7's. I think I should have move the brake disc back in the pick with the HRE's, it's current placement makes the wheel look more shallow than it is. Oh well.

Yeah I like the look of the very last picture.
I just replaced my rear wheel carrier ball joints, integral links, swapped in another used M5 c/v on the driver side and fixed an exhaust leak. Can't wait to get it aligned and go for a drive. The wheel carrier ball joints were absolutely toast. You could shake the housing and it would just flop around. This is most likely the cause of my annoying rear wheel wander I have been trying to figure out for months. I highly suggest everyone get those looked at as more than likely they are just like mine were.
Thanks for the heads up RVAE34!!
Nah, i talking about something real

I am working on that for the whole group. A company is in the process of developing a Wilwood BBK for the E39 that should be extremely competitive with pricing.
I also spent 4 hours yesterday with the master alignment guy in VA. Everything is within the stock specs for an 03 540 sport. If you guys are lucky, I may tell you how I accomplished that with a pretty much slammed car soon as well
