They only started recently as the owner bought himself an M5 as a DD for a bit. Sedan only of course so I had to use the H&R's in the rear.
Edit: Just ordered a set of Nissan Murano bi-xenon projectors for a headlight retrofit

Been thinking about a retro as well...hmmm
BMWCCA #389756
e39 Touring SOLD.
Rear adjustable height issue solved using an E46 mount and a universal coilover spring that was the closest length to the H&R Rides great too.

Nope. That was a requirement for my search for a touring.

The black trim looks much better.

that is exactly how i wish i could have done mine. i cant wait to have a 2car garage and not have to do all the work outside cause I'm too annoyed to just always "re-park" the m3.

Looking good take some day photos
635csi - SHRKATK - Zinnoberrot
Wetsanded and buffed the rear driver side pillars and window trim.
I still have to get the spring info. I also want to have some more road time to make sure it's reliable in different driving conditions. Have to get the rest of the trim back in and wait until the storm passes first.
this is starting to get exiting! looks awesome!

M62/TU crank holder tool, fan clutch tools, and rear ball joint removal press available for New England members who need them!
Sorry for the camera pix but it's still raining out.
Incredible work!
The car's paint also looks immaculate as well...!
What did you use for the "base coat" on the trims, and where did you buy it and the clear?
Also, I thought it was interesting that you did NOT remove the pillar trims for painting...
Thanks!

Looking for an E39 belly pan , passenger front inner fender liner …
I tried to remove them but it seemed like a pita. No worries as I masked them perfectly. I cannot recall the exact color but it was the blackest black the paint store had as they looked at the formulas and lots of them had yellow, red, blue etc added. The base is PPG. Then I used PPG 2021 urethane clear. I sprayed it all using a devilbiss + gun.
lol
Finally cleared up out.
Wish I had known that prior Oh well. Done now and looks great. Just wasted effort.
