I figured out that it was in fact only the front passenger side that was rubbing. I raised the front 3/16th's and it's all good now. Still rides like garbage downtown though. Need to get those rear shocks made asap!
Nice Work !!
LOVE The V70R BTW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, Car looks really really good. Loving the way its coming together. Do you plan on going with blacked out door and bumper trim? IMHO I think the chrome strip clashes with the rest of the car. But otherwise, I love it!!
Absolutely. I already purchased a set of M5 trim from eBay. Should arrive any day now
I just found this 357i LS swap on a e46

I still think your e34 was one of the cleanest cars on this forum, period. Hence my following this thread so closely. I was super stoked to see you choose the e39 for your next project.
2003 E39, manual, sport, debadged, full service history from new, staggered authentic 18" alpina softlines, M5 mirrors and trunk lip, 30% 3M tint, DICE silverline ipod integration, valentine one rear headrest stealth install, CDV delete, 545i short shifter + zhp shift knob, zimmerman rotors, axxis pads, custom interior (two-tone sand beige black with microsuede A pillars, oem black headliner, sandbeige 18-way adjustable comfort seats)
it came out absolutely perfect! keep up the work sir.
Thanks! I used a Canon 40D with 50mm 1.4.
I can't wait to do the shoot with the new bumper. I still need to order fogs and clear sidemarkers though.

I appreciate that! It was as great car. But I think this will top it
I finally got the dimensions I needed to have Fortune Auto build a set of rear shocks for the touring. If Ferm3 could get the dimensions for the KW shocks, that would help confirm.
After mine are done, Fortune is planning on offering the new touring kit through their distributors. For now, you can purchase everything from them direct as parts and I will get a list of those parts once my setup is all done.
Looks like WP pro has the regular car version of you touring!
You need those brakes!
Gone but not forgotten:

Chigga's E39 is very nice, but this is my favorite touring. that color
Absolutely amazing project here, very inspiring. Love that color too…
Clay found this online last night and I have confirmed that this is in fact the motor I am getting Not quite as much torque as I had originally thought but no complaints from me

he must be going to a LSD? open on that would...well...suck..
Looking into one of two options right now. Someone is working on a diff solution for the 185mm stock diff using a helical LSD and different gearing options or going to an M5 diff. The problem is that it seems neither 4.10 or the 3.15 are ideal for this application.
