    Tri mix is the best gas for stainless MIG, but other mixes work ok too. I use 308LSi 0.023 wire for 16 GA. I welded my entire 3" exhaust with it and it came out pretty decent.

    Getting the buzz sound perfect by adjusting heat and speed on some scraps is the key

    Thanks man! For the rad expansion tank yeah, also a Vibrant one with a 19psi cap, but for the power steering and expansion tank overflow no just fixed.

    Watch out with the fixed cap on the PS. The factory cap is vented (which is why the original res is gross all the time) because the PS fluid gets hot, expands, vapor, etc. I ran my fixed cap one for a while and kept pushing out the rubber seal on the lid. I should get back to that project Nothing a 1/16" drill bit can't fix!

    Yeah that's why I'm adding a cooler. It's all going to be PTFE AN lines so it's probably going to blow seals on the rack before anything else.

    Damn all you guys, mostly TheJuggernaut...

    Stuff happened and I picked up an Lincoln 180 mig pak and a Eastwood tig 200 both for dirt cheap....I haven't mig welded in like 9 years but I'm completely new to tig welding...it's pretty awesome. Will post pics of boogers
