    Wow thuppu, nice work.

Is dimitri still tuning your car?

I remember on S2forum when you had just finished your first build. Crazy how you have progressed.

    Thanks! =)

Jaychen, no Dmitri is a busy man these days. I would love him to map the motronic though. I have been using stand-alone VEMS now, can map the car a lot easier now.

Here is a diagram pic of the setup:

Do you have any more pictures of that intake check valve? It is hard to see, but it appears to not have much room for flow around the valve.

Thuppu that is seriously one of the coolest setups I have ever seen! Love it! Congrats on getting it running and driving

There are a 70mm bypass valve(one way valve) thats opens when the turbo needs more air than the supercharger can feed. As the SC makes boost at idle I use a 50mm dump valve to dump the air when the throttle valve is closed. It makes 7.2PSI at 1200rpm, 14.5PSI at 2000rpm, 24.7PSI at 3000rpm, 34PSI at 4000rpm. It has quite aggressive gear ratio, and it makes the Holset spool a lot faster than before. The engine is a I5 2.2 20vt.

Wow, that is quite neat. I was going to ask what about when the supercharger can't flow enough air.

What do you mean when there is no pressure on the SC? Is that when the valve opens? So, the supercharger is not heating the air at all?

I guess you could still put a filter over the valve?

When the turbo outflowing the SC, the SC pressure side(turbo intake side) drops below zero PSI, to negative pressure. Then the valve starts to open and the turbo gets all the air it needs. When the SC(roots) don't have to work against pressure, it will produce minimum heat, even that is flowing its maxximum CFM.

The valve size is 2.75" and it's fitted in a 4" pipe, so there is plenty of room around it. Here you can see the valve before it was fitted:

I assume you are using the standard 16cm
    Hot side on the hx40?

I was just wondering with a configuration like
This, how would you typically size the hot side?

    I'm planning on using a .91 ar t4 twin on my 24v with e85 stock compression. 67mm hx50.

Yes, I'm using a #16 size T3 twinscroll housing. With this setup could easily be bigger #18... What I know the #16 housing compares to A/R 1.1 or something. HX40 stock size is 60/65mm. I have a custom HX40 with billet 65.5 comp and 68 ex.(#16) that I will use when I get on dyno.

Well that sounds ridiculous. Seems like the blow off valve was always open unless there was boost present?

Yes, the sound is... quite disturbing I know. Eh, what would happen if the BOW isn't open when the throttle flap is closed..? Think about it.

Keep in mind that the vid was the first test. Everytime I hit the throttle the engine goes lean for a sec, it's not properly mapped yet. Thats why it struggles a little.

Girlfriend just graduated cosmetology school so I'm no longer broke supporting her, so it will be done soon! I have everything I need, I just need time to
    Fab.

But I've been finishing my 240.

Just read the post on exhaust housing size.

So for this larger engine of mine, I should probably stick to the t4 19cm exhaust housing when using this eaton m90 as well?

No it isn't. Bad audio because camera is in a water resistant enclosure and lots of resonances that come tru the mount.

Cool video. Do you have an image of the dyno output? I want to see what that power curve looks like, I'm sure it's crazy.
