Jon, Grizzly is local to me. I even know a guy who works there
That lathe is pretty sweet. I wish I had one for making spacers and all kinds of cool stuff you can turn out quickly.
I had some time off around Christmas so I have been practicing welding on thin steel sheet. Bought some 20ga at the hardware store and practiced a bit with the MIG. I can do OK, but still a long learning curve. Really wish I had a TIG.
Plugging some holes in the chassis:
I have one of those magnetic copper backing plate things from Eastwood, makes it pretty easy to fill the holes. Plenty more left to go unfortunately...

There's a dude on a 4x4 site that CNC's adapters. You can't just replace the hose because of the proprietary miller fitting in the machine. But, he makes a fitting and I have fitted a weldcraft ultra flex hose. It will absolutely re-invent the machine. I'll dig up his info for you.

This thread needs more power hammers.
I'm planing on doing just that. I've always loved the idea of fabrication.Originally Posted by KarlSpackler

Finished up my DSSR!
It's NOTABLY easier to shift - the shifter falls into gear without as much resistance. Very worthwhile upgrade IMHO and also eliminated some side to side slop!

And this is how I kept it flat/square, making sure it fit the stock application and didn't warp

Thanks guys! I love welding stainless (especially thicker stainless). That part was annoying because it was such a small diameter circle.
So which one do you guys like better the Wp19 or the H100?
Working on some stuff and decided to video it. A set of calipers I am doing for someone are pretty darn rough. No worries, though.

My minilathe has a dead MOSFET on it I think. Sad times...
I need to replace the common components that go bad on the board and try to revive it. I've made a ton of stuff with it. Have the same quick release tool post as well.
