I need to join this region if i'm living here most of the year
Yeah, maybe we can get them to have real events. If enough people who want to drive their cars join, maybe they will have a bmwcca event at Nola ms.Originally Posted by OnUrleft

dang I wish we would've know earlier. I could've gotten at least a few to go, if not many to support this chapter growing. I'll still let a few friends know in the area.
Keep us posted on these events, i'd love to see a BMW CCA HPDE down here

How was the turn out?

Also,
Does anyone in charge of CCA in this region have the clear stickers I can put on my rear window? Thanks
Spotted a 525iT sport with a 5 speed and a BMW CCA sticker at Chimes.
Turn out wasnt all that great, it was pretty short notice, but the hpf m3 did come out and our customer with a 840 6speed swap, ill keep you guys posted, were trying to get set up to do it once a month/every other month
I am in Metairie. I would love to participate more locally, particularly at the shop. Just need some notice. 3 kids takes up the schedule quite a bit.
Besides the cars and the people, I also need a shop I can get some things done. I like to do my own work but I don't do heavy stuff anymore and I am not the best electrician.
I couldn't make it, got up too late. Let me know when the next one is though

Ended up having a lot of work to do that day. If anyone knows when the next meeting is, please post the time and date in here.

Update: Ian, myself, and a few other friends have just joined. It would be great for a few of you that I have not contacted join as well. I would really like to get heavily involved with BMW CCA and try to help organize drivers education events down here. I've organized meets and stuff before, so hopefully I can take it to the next level and get the ball rolling. It doesn't look like any of the current members are active enough to currently tackle the aforementioned task, or maybe theyre working on it now, but hopefully we'll have something soon.

People if you join you get a free subscription to Roundel, probably the best BMW magazine. That's worth it by itself
You also get various discounts and up to $1500 off a new or Certified Pre-Owned BMW. The Bayou Chapter currently has a few drives/events planned, and hopefully by joining, we can make this more frequent.
I just joined. I had looked into this when i bought my car, as my dad was a member in the late 70's 80's but nothing seemed to be going on. I live in Carriere MS so it is a little drive to get there but I will still try to participate when I can.

I look at the 8 series forum and the southeast one just about everyday.
I joined, BUT I might be moving in a few months... Still will keep a eye out
Did anyone go to the recent BBQ?
I missed it but I wish I could've gone. I'd like to talk to some of the Nola members about hosting an AutoX or similar.
