E39 6 speed in E34?

Got excited for a moment when I saw this ad. But I don't think I want to buy it because I hate the E39's soft exterior lines.
Having a spare M62 NV and 6 speed drivetrain was what interested me. The questions are can the E39 6 speed trans/drive shaft bolt onto the E34 540 auto? Will the E39 driveshaft work with the E34 diff? What about the pedals and the rest of the manual goodies from the E39?

IIRC e39 540's have the same Getrag as ours. M62's also have similar blocks to ours, so thats why the bell housing bolts right up.

E34 and E32 M60 have 265 mm clutch.. but it doesent matter .. it will fit

That's a great deal for a whole donor car. Mikeday successfully has obd2 in his 95 car.

I believe so, yes. If you have a few lying around, see if the pressure plate bolts up to the flywheel. If it does, you're golden.

The clutch disc between the two is the same.

The e39 driveshaft itself is probably a different length and has the bearing in a different spot vs the e34 driveshaft.
