I've got Potenzas on mine. They are fantastic tires!
Won the draw to use the Apex Wheels photo booth... it is a perfect setup. Really awesome, and I never get that lucky so this made my month

I totally spied your car back at the end of July. I was test driving a 2003 540i M-sport and was pulling out of La Honda by Apple Jack's right as a parade of BMWs went by. Took it up 84 to see how it handled though.
P.S. Nice work
I met up with gregg again at euro sunday in Moraga. On the way back we switched cars for a bit. It was an awesome experience. The rawness and simplicity of his car felt fantastic and it definitely changed a few of my end goal ideas for my car. Big thanks to Gregg and Awesome work!
Nice spotting! My girlfriend and I were in that caravan on our way to San Gregorio beach for the JGMods Coma Cruise.

Glad you like her! It's really a whole other experience when you get to drive the same car (essentially) that's built a different way.
I know, saw the lineup, but you guys were at Pomponio beach, I was in my truck though, taking the dog and no dogs allowed at that beach or I would have stopped and had a look at the cars.
Ugh, I kept getting those beaches all messed up. That's the right one.
I cannot for the LIFE of me get anyone to fix my dent (or dings). After over a year of begging everyone I know I am giving up. I LOVE the look of the vinyl but imperfections and dents will make it look half-assed, and I have never gotten one negative comment about the Sharpie paint job. Most seem to really enjoy it... which is always a surprise for me. What was meant to be a really temporary color change so I didn't have to drive a "Grandma Gold" e36 has made it a local legend of sorts.

Just quick question.... where did you get or did you make your Oil pan Skid Plate Bars?
--- Keep it simple stupid...
Well now! Incredible amount of work, and a fine result.
But this all makes me ask, since you have so much time and no small amount of dough in the car, what/whose insurance are you buying to protect you time and cash?
I think you're referring to the X-Brace, it's just OEM from the e36 vert. Purchased from Tischer BMW since they have the best price on it new.
Just liability through Progressive, it's about $65 a month for both my e36 and e30. These cars, no matter how much time, love and money spent on them, are worth next to nothing on paper. Depressing as that is, it's the cold hard truth and I am not willing to pay more than the car is worth in insurance every single year. Since I have so much experience under my belt now, I could do a full frame swap pretty damn quickly if anything tragic happened.

Wow, definitely one of my favorite e36's on the forum. Those pictures look awesome with the sharpie!
Took both girls out for their first OFFICIAL outing together, got some pretty good shots

Looks good, but what's that funny looking brace in your engine bay? Looks out of place. You should totally sell it on the WTB forums <.< >.> o.O
Awesome thread, love the interior!
Are you planning to make more door panels to possibly sell?
I had to pee on page one, but I couldn't stop reading! 8 pages later, it was worth it.
Great looking car sir! I'm typically an E30 guy, but the more great E36 builds I see I may soon be converted. Or maybe go your route and get one of each
Thanks! I would love to, I have done one other set so far, but I really haven't actively tried to market them. However rainy season is coming up and with two cars and a girlfriend to support on only one paycheck, it's very tempting...
Hahaha, now that's saying something! I truly do love both cars, and there's simply NO way I could part with either at this point. I think it would be the death of me, or at least my sanity.
Great post man! Great to see so much creativity in a e36! When are you going to wrap your car? I'm having a no start issue on my e36 right now...if you could check out my post and give your 2 cents it would be great.

Funny you mention that. This weekend one of my buddies was able to work my bad dent out of the rear quarter panel, so now I only have two shallow ones and a handful of dings to take care of... I might just take my time on the small stuff and wrap it next spring.
I will be the first to admit I'm not terribly great at diagnosing. If I know what's wrong I can fix it no problem. Posted my initial thoughts in your thread mate
Just read through your thread, that E36 is beautiful man, keep up the good work!
