Awesome build, I'm in love with those door panels.

Making progress on redoing my floor pans. The VAC ones are just a bit too flexible in the middle for my liking, so I am doubling up the aluminum on the fronts, and leaving off the Dynomat on the bottoms of them. I need to find a metal bending brake to do the two bends up front though... The black looks really sick though.

Dam, you are going to end up with a full line of awesome products to sell. Lol. Those look sweet.
Any plans for an engine swap or FI in the future?
I wish, I just can't see it happening any time soon with my budget.
In other news, I got a small 30" sheet metal bending brake and did the bend on the front passenger floor pan, so that front black one is now installed. Just need to do my front driver side now, which is harder when I am driving it every day. But it looks fantastic, really digging it.
For those of you who might not be following Le-ah's build, I picked up a little 1972 '02 last night (see sig) and she will be replacing the e30. It is heart wrenching for me, as I have her running 95% perfect right now, even the whole cluster works. But in the end, the classic (and SMOG EXEMPT!!!) car won.
Excited for what's to come.
Gregg! This guy wants to be you! Lol

Interesting... he's finally making them. I've spawned at least 3 copy cats since I started doing mine about a year and a half ago lol.
He's got a coupe nice features going for his, though it looks like a copy of a design that was supposed to be shared between racers... not sold. I see a few problem areas too, where his panel will cut up the weather stripping which is what, $230 per side on a coupe?

Not the way to do business man. Mine are half his cost for a set, and a much nicer aluminum panel than the flimsy 0.040 single ply it looks like those are made from.
No sweat though, it's the land of the free after all.
how do I get a hold of those floor pans and door panels. I love the amount of time and work you have thrown into this car. It's amazing.

I was wondering if I could get the dimensions and cuts for those floor pans.

Very creative work in this thread. It's not completely my style but I like that the car HAS so much style. Great stuff.

Finally got a break in the rain and installed the last floor pan for my driver side. Fits great, far less over complicated than the VAC ones, and I am really loving the black. It's completely pitch black inside the car at night now
Wow! Is that a vinyl or actually textured material?
i would also like to know if thats vinyl or actual material. id be interested in that in black either way, but metal seems cooler than vinyl.
