Huminuh Huminuh Huminuh Huminuh Huminuh......
When are you going to paint the car?
Nice! I like it.

Never, apparently lol. Last weekend was my last driving the car. Drove about 120 miles of breakneck twisties on one of my favorite canyon runs, and she performed absolutely flawless the whole time. In fact, most of my ownership has been a dream, with only a handful of days where I wasn't able to drive the car. While I am not truly sad to see her go, there's of course a good chunk of me that still wants to keep her forever.
The car will be parted out to help fund my 2002 build, since I was able to buy the roundie back when I returned from Hawaii.
I am putting together a few final pics of the car and where she stands now. If anyone is looking for anything, just send me a PM. A few parts are claimed by my local buddies already, but the whole car is good. The shell will be available as well, and would be a great track ready chassis with reinforcements already done, interior prepped and painted, sunroof delete, etc.
My e36 journey would not have been as long or as kick ass without the support, encouragement, and parts from this forum, so I would like to give a huge thank you to anyone that's sold me stuff, bought stuff from me, or pointed me the right way when I was trying to figure something out.
Man, kind of sad to see one of my favorite E36 builds get parted so that 2002 better be BADASS! Good luck with it!

How much do you want for the AKG shifter and knob?
Sold the Mason strut bar and the OEM mud flaps so far, but nothing else. The car will be up for sale officially, as I'd like to see if someone wants to buy a well sorted "e36 starter kit" with tons of spare parts first, rather than spending the time of parting it out piece by piece.
I have gone through the thread again to recover and reinsert a bunch of photos that weren't showing because photobucket is the dumbs. Friends/Family/Forum members get first dibs, then it will go to local Facebook BMW groups, then Craigslist as a last resort.

So my roommate bought the shell, though he's got much much more than just that. Swapped in his suspension and mated his ZF to my m50 with the 3.46 I had in it originally, and the interior all remains. We rebuilt everything in a matter of hours really, set up for drift duty, and took it to Thunder Hill the day after we fired her up. First time the car has ever been on a track and performed flawlessly the whole day, and we drove back home happy.
This is all the reasons I will never sell... Car got to halfway nice before getting trashed, all you had to do was clean up the exterior, and you were already most the way there! When I sit and think about all the hours of labor that have got into my little shitbox, I realize there is no one who will appreciate it as much as me. At least it looks like someone is having fun with your hard work...
Just stopped by here yesterday, stumbled upon this today:

It's not perfect, but you've dealt with worse.
It's also not a slicktop, but unless you want to keep looking indefinitely you may want to at least check it out.
It's an auto so it'll need a tranny swap, but that's not a big deal.
Probably worth texting the guy...
