    245/40-18 on an E34

Would anybody recommend this size for comfort on a daily driver. I'd probably stick with stock suspension. Will this protect the rim better than 235/40-18's?

    Good ones
A 245/40/18 tire is perfect for an E34 with an 18x8" and 18x8.5" wheel. They do ride better than a 235/40/18 and note that BMW used this size (245) on the '94 & '95 Euro M5s.

I have got a 18inch rims with et15 and 8.5j on all 4 rims(non staggered). Im planning to run a 245/40/18 on all 4 rims, will it be a good idea?
