No offense, and bad ass job by the way, but why did you do the paint and body work before yanking the engine and tranny out? My gosh, I would be uber scared to booger up that flawless paint job that you worked your ass off for. I personally would have done mechanical fist, then paint and body.

At the time the clutch was not bad. But since then it has gotten worse. That's why I pulled the front end off before starting work.

Got the engine fully assembled ready to be matted with the tranny and put back in the car.

Still got to get the flywheel resurfaced then the new clutch can go on.

Nice job! But I'm wondering why you didn't stroke it, add cams, get the head ported and put on a turbo while you had it out....

That won't happen for awhile. For now the stock power is plenty to have fun with for me.

Finally got the motor back in. Simply plugging everything back in and hitting the gas.

Car is 95% done. Just waiting on the new oil cooler to come in and then put the front end back on.

Radiator back in and bolted down.

I know its been a long time since the last update just not much going on.

I decided the 4.10 rear end was too much revs.

Took both apart and swapped the clutch pack from the 4.10 to the 3.73.

Wow such a long time since an update. As most know a project is never done, and I keep finding things I either want to change or have to change. And when some things break then that is the time for an upgrade.

Since the old lip broke off completely, I decided to upgrade to the Rieger Infinity lip with splitter.

Moved her to a new home recently. Everything fits with just enough room to move around.

Front suspension and brakes completely taken off. Ready for some new fun parts.

    Old front brakes.

Got a lot planned for the next few weeks. New parts include brakes, sway bars, center bearing, rear subframe bushings, rtab's, diff bushing. Gotta get her done for a trip up to DC at the end of this month. I will try a keep daily updates.

I HAVE to have those wheels and front lip. Gorgeous.

Also, if you ever have the car up in the air, I would love to have a picture of the exhaust routing. I'm thinking about doing duals out the back of mine and I've killed a few brain cells trying to decide on a good path. (hell yeah cherry bombs!)

The lip I got from Abraham Motorsports and wheels are reps. I'll go down tomorrow and take a picture of the exhaust.

Didn't get any work done today as Tampa's wonderful weather wasn't very cooperative. So I figured at least update on what new parts will be going on the car. For the sway bars I went with the Ireland Engineering 22mm and 19 mm bars. The reinforcement tabs will be welded on while the trailing arms are off. For brakes I decided to go 4 pot calipers for the front and Hawk HPS pads all the way around. For rotors I stuck with solid rotors, I feel no need for drilled or slotted rotors. Stainless steel brake lines and a complete brake fluid flush. For the Subframe, trailing arms, and diff bushings came from revshift. Went with the 95A green bushes, all little harder than stock. Should be able to get a lot done in the next few days. I will be taking pics and updating as I go.

Subframe is out without an issue and now is the fun part, removing the bushes. Got the last bit of parts needed today and will hopefully be done this weekend.

For those wondering about the exhaust, simple.

Got a good amount done today. Finished removing the old bushes out of the subframe and one of the trailing arms. Got the new brakes mocked up and wheel fitted to check for any fitment issues.

Caliper clears with plenty of room and no rubbing.

I actually already sold them to a friend of mine. I found out that all 4 wheels were bent, 2 on the lip and 2 at the hub.

What is the size of the other one you have. If they are 15" do you still have them?
