Like where this is going with the effort put in. Wasn't there a guy on r3vlimited.com that had a write up on one touch switches?

    Vert restoration - BRAVO!

Hey, I just found this thread, and what a read - Nice Work, no mistake!

Boy, I know what you mean about those Florida drivers - way too many folks driving 'by braille.' Too bad you had to suffer through that. You certainly made hay, the retrofit of all that new sheet metal and skirts is a huge improvement. I will follow this post with interest.

May I discuss some 'collision prevention techniques' with you? I do great things with rear lights, to help 'ward off evil drivers.' Love to suggest a few things you can do easily, and with the lights out of the car, a perfect time to upgrade as cheap insurance against future damage.

    Keep up the good work!!

Great progress man! I'm really surprised by the lack of comments stating what a great job you've done. Lol Anyways, this is a very fine job you're doing good sir. Keep it up. I definitely will subscribe.

After much thought, I decided to do solid color for the wheels. Glossy graphite grey.

    2013-03-13_14-46-13_83 by E30Bass, on Flickr

Overall sanding, the car is about 75% complete. Still got all the nooks and crannies.

Sanded down the bumpers, front valance, and rear spoiler today. Along with that most of the trim got painted flat black. Still have the rest of the car to do and to finish the spoiler.

    Love that reflection.

Looking good man. Can't wait to see the next steps.

What are you using to paint the trim stuff and does it look as good/better than when it's new?

    Keep 'em coming.

Brad: I used the duplicolor flat black trim paint from the auto parts store. It looks like new and is alot cheaper also.

koewnie: No engine work has been done yet. That will come after it gets back from paint.

Continued working on sanding down the car. Finished the front left fender before it started to rain (typical Florida weather).

Very productive day today. Finished the sanding, and washed it down. A little bit of dish soap and water takes all the residue off.
