Had to take a picture next to this mint e30 325 once I parked next to it at a bmw meet. Now I just need to find some 17" wheels, maybe 2 piece Style 5's...

This if from my first race weekend in the new car. Finished 5th sat. and 4th Sun. out of 9, and had the second fastest lap time Sunday. Not a bad first outing
Friday Night Lights has about 300 cars every month, and we happened to just open a store front at the location...so win/win! (Lost Art is my wife's store, we do shirts/decals/etc...have lots of BMW related stuff like LTW flags )
...did some offroading recently and need to repaint and repair the lip

Closed on our home sale but I wasn't able to put the car completely back together and get it roadworthy enough to trust driving it an hour across town to store it at a buddies house. It was a familiar battle where the car fights tooth and nail with me but with having to pack/move stuff out/clean the house at the same time, the car won. Oh well, I snapped a couple pics since I moved the car from where it sat for a couple years and on the tow truck.

Attended my first SCCA Autocross event yesterday and took home 3rd place for Novice class despite some rain.

Oof. I was in a similar situation last year. Wife took a new job so we moved and I was out in early February in Michigan finishing up my suspension work. Dropped it off for an alignment on moving day, with a completely dead battery, dragging caliper, and a litany of other issues I didn't have time to address first.
We're closing on Wednesday, fortunately both E36 and E70 have been running well.

Yeah, it kind of sucked since it was $$ to get it towed 60+ miles away but it's better than what could have been. It came down to the brakes for me. Needed two new lines made for the front kit and a special male/male inline coupling for one corner. All came last minute and during the bleeding one of the calipers started seeping at a bolt holding both sides of the caliper together. This was around 11pm the night before closing so I said fuck it since I still had house work to do. I just had it picked up early AM the next day since they had an early final walk through.
It's in my buddies garage now and that's all that matters so I'm just glad at least that part of this tiresome situation is over. Once the new house is done in a few weeks I'll finally be able to relax with this stressful process finally being over with.
Congrats on the home sale BTW.
