That's a slick E36 for sure. I have always liked the silver since the 90's when they were new.

Thank you, sir!! For being the most common color, silver does look pretty good, especially at night!

It's been sunny for the past week here in the PNW, but temps have been hanging around the low 30s to mid 40s. Got my winter tires on and drove down to Seattle to scout some shooting locations, took a few shots and the turned out ok

Also yes my rear tires are massive, I couldn't find these tires in a 245/40 so I'm just gonna have to live with it lol

Right after this shot my slave cylinder failed and ended my track day after 5 laps. Still had a blast, driving this thing is so much fun.

I like this wheel setup much better. Silver wheels always look way cleaner to me than anything else.

Thanks Christian, I think we are in agreement there. Wish they were a little cleaner but they work and they are OEM

I feel the same way about the wheels. Really suits the cleanliness of the car.

    - 98 m3, techno/anthrazit cloth, 124k and officially worthless - 89 m3, alpine/black 143k and officially old - 2000 323it, tiag/grey, 169k and officially boring

Question for the photographers, is it possible that the lens is picking something up in these 2 photos, or are my rotors actually glowing or sparking debris. 80+ other photos, and many in this same sequence do not show the red rotor flash.

It’s odd because to me the glow is beneath the rotors in both shots?

I think that may be a cone on the side of the track you can see through the wheel, then the next shot the car is further ahead.

You may be onto something, but I do not see a cone in any other photo from that sequence or corner, & you only see when it is perfectly centered in the wheel. Wow, what are the odds if that is true? lol

Yeah i think this is whats happening, You are farther along in the 2nd pic crossing the same spot (using that Truck and trailer as reference).
I took this shot out there at a night sesh and you can see this EG glowing his rotors, would be hard to capture that during the day unless you were seriously heating those bad boys up.
