I'm waiting for better weather to clean her up and take better pictures, but this winter I overpaid for probably the most stock E36 I've seen (it even has the original working cassette player), a 1998 328i Convertible Auto in Fern Green with Green roof and Sand/Beige leather. This is very much not your typical E36 you see, I call this the "old lady" spec, with Auto gearbox, burr walnut interior, and only 66,000 miles, but it's actually how I would have ordered one myself back in 1998. It looks pretty classy, but the original owner did spec the sportier, multi-spoke alloys and the M wheel. Otherwise it's pretty loaded with dual zone climate, parking sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, even heated seats which I think are rare on these in the UK, and everything works, including the power top. I say I overpaid because it looked mint when I picked it up on a grey, rainy January day, but once I inspected it properly at home I realised both rear arches are a little bubbled and there's a tiny bit of bubbling around the fuel door, and the boot/trunk lip. The entire underside has been thoroughly wax-sealed so I'm not worried about anything structural, but I really want to tidy up these cosmetic areas!

Very nice. I think as these cars get older the original color is more appealing. My car was originally silver. I like the blue, but I have considered changing it back to the original silver.

Mugellorot is the paint color. I’ve only seen a few surface around the internet like mine but I don’t think I’ve ever seen another in person. In direct sunlight and certain lighting conditions the orange tint stands out making this a one of a kind red that I was not familiar with or even aware of honestly prior to picking this up. What I’m saying is she’s a keeper, and I had the car fully painted about two years ago. Drivers are reckless to say the least! stay safe out there boys n girls =]

Sierra is beautiful. I wish I had picked up a 328 years ago, they are almost harder to find then a cared for M3. Rear end is in my future and not looking forward to it.

I'll jump in. I finally washed and waxed the car for the first time in 3 years. It's been sitting in the garage... '96 328is in Madeira Violet, all mods in my signature. If you can't view it, heavily modified, M parts where applicable, 280hp/28mpg

after 7.5 weeks of working on this thing. Full front and rear suspension refresh is done. Everything is refurbished, rebuilt or new.

Its a '98 328i but now has full '96+ E36 M3 suspension, M3 brakes, 17x9 Bimmerworld TA5R's, 245/40 Advan AD08R's, chassis reinforcement, Vorshlag camber plates, rebuilt 3.23 diff, and KW V3s and a bunch of other goodies. Build thread come soon?

Still have to align the car
