thanks <3 it's not nearly as clean as it looks. Photos hide as much as they show lol.
Hence the old timer's term "10 footer" or "20 footer" paint jobs.
Moron95m3 your car looks goddamn brand new in those pics. Avus is the best (non individual) colour these cars came in.
Lockouts you can stop being mad at me now.

any black e36 owners (car, not owner) experiencing the same summer hell?
NotM - so drool worthy.
How has your splitter held up/how do you like it? I find myself having to tip toe through a lot with my lip, and still scrape often.
The LTW splitter is on my list of options to replace it, but don't want to find myself in the same boat again lol.
You seem to drive your car a lot more than I do, so it might bother you. (IIRC you have like 200+k?)
Its definitely low. Driving with it all the way inboard makes it much more livable, and I've learned the hard way that it can take a serious punch. The tray is the weakest link also, and its actually not all that expensive, so if you break one its not the end of the world. Also the angle of how you'd hit it makes it unlikely to catch and fold under like your current lip would. I'd bet it makes life a slight bit easier, but the whole setup is a pricey endeavour.
Thanks for the info!
Yea, I end up putting on 5-10k miles per year it seems, even when I 'only drive it on nice summer days' - still ends up being driven 80% of spring through fall it seems lol.
Oh thats not much! I thought it was like, full on daily status. For me, I enjoy the aesthetics of the splitter so much, if it became a real problem for me I'd just raise up the car a bit. Which I should do anyway. My cats are probably completely polished from entering/exiting parking lots.
Went out with a photographer buddy of mine so he could give me some tips and just to have some fun! I'm pretty happy with the results...
