    turbo problem loss of power 320d 2007

    hi guys my turbo went last week,loss of power and horrible noise from turbo.took it to a garage that is familiar with bm's.had a reconditioned turbo fitted last week but car still has no power wont go over 1500 rpm.plugged into diagnostic computer and its showing no faults...hes also took inlet manifold off to check for cracks and to make sure the flaps inside are all ok,which they are..any help would be great

    Are you sure the turbo was reconditioned and not used? Even if it was reconditioned who's to say there isn't a problem with that one too.

    turbo

    came from reconditioning centre(turbo express) with 12 months warranty looked brand new so hopefully it should be fine.the old turbo had snapped in half so was well fooked

    I'd look at ignition. Coils, plugs, etc..not sure if issues with any of those would produce a code or not

    cheers bud but its diesel weve checked all injectors they all sem fine

    Ha, missed the "d"....Details ;-) I don't have any useful suggestions at this point as I am not familiar with diesels. Hopefully someone who is will chime in. Good luck with it.
