I JUST did this and did a nice, clear, write-up with pictures. Wasn't sure which red/white wire to tap into ground (coming from fuse or going to it). Ended up frying the wire pretty badly. Anyway, thanks again!Originally Posted by 99mtres

Now is there any way to make my low beams stay on with my key out the car?
It comes in handy on certain occasions.
Does the fact that my bimmer is an eurospec change anything regarding the lights? cuase I can turn on my foglight with low and high beems. Also, I can leave my lights on without the keys, in reply to mjfx328.
Now, what I would really like to do is to have my foglights on everytime the car is on, regardless if its day or night. I this possible?
ur trying to do this
I wish I could activate my DRLs with the car off. that would be so hot
Is this possible to do on an E46?
The nice thing about the E46 compared to the E36 is the LCM (light control module). It means that you can code most of the things requested in this thread. And the things you cannot code, can be fixed by a simple module. (http://www.car-solution.de/en/BMW-3-...id=53&TreeId=2)Originally Posted by sabrehagen

does anyone know If there is a way to drive with just the fog lights on? no parking lights or headlights.
I'd suggest looking at the wiring diagram for European E36s. I just check my car and as long as the fog light switch is on and light switch is set to at least park, the fogs will stay on (park, lows and highs).
Just draw the power to the switch from a constant power source so it'll turn on the fogs when everOriginally Posted by whoshaunq
