    That sounds like a synchro issue, not a shift pin issue. Bad shift pins won't cause grinding on their own.

    Going to go pick up the drifts tonight on the way home from work!!

    Provided they're all what I'm expecting to see, I will release payment info, and we'll start shippin' some of you guys the drifts!

    OK so here's how we'll do this...

    Paypal address will be PM'd out to those "in line"... Just to review, Total price including shipping is $45.35.

    Please make sure to include your preferred shipping address, your name and your bimmerforums handle. This will help me keep this all straight on my end.. If you include an email that you would like "shipping information" sent to, I'll take the time to put that in as I print labels and you'll get an idea when I'm shipping your stuff..

    I will ship once a day for those that have paid up to that point (as best I can keep up) so when you pay, you should be getting a notice within a day or less that your drifts are en route..

    I anticipated a few of you paying the first day... not 98%

    All the drifts have been bagged into individual sets, I have all the boxes.. just need to get labels printed and stuff into the boxes..

    My goal is to ship all that have paid before this weekend... Hopefully before Friday..

    Damn those things called "jobs"... they're always gettin' in the way...

    I just did this job with hotdoggin's drifts. Went fine. I used the FCP Euro detent pin kit. Two of the sleeves appeared to be identical, while the drifts were slightly different in terms of driving depth. This is likely a detent pin kit issue and not a drift issue.

    Really helps shifting. I recommend the selector shaft coupler replacement also.
