I'm trying to gauge interest for my 1995 OBDI E36 M3 Coupe, clean title. The color is Cosmos black and the interior is also black leather. 209k miles. Auto. Luxury package! This car does have a bunch of new parts (tires, water pump, suspension, battery, spark plugs, and oil.) off the top of my head. The car does have a two 12" subs in the back with a kenwood headunit, OEM 6 disk changer, sunroof, heated and powered seats all work. Wheels are in great condition, they are not replicas and like I said they have fresh rubber on them.
The interior is in relatively good condition besides the driver seat needing to be reupholstered and the passenger seat has a rip in it. It does have a few door dings, and the driver fender has a dent in it. I was planning on finding another cosmos black fender, its an easy swap. A/c compressor is shot, I can source a replacement working one very easily. The car might need a motor mount, at idle it rumbles slightly - nothing crazy. The catalytic converter on the midpipes I think are old, sometimes gets a lot of exhaust (like on a cold winter day) smoke. Its not burning oil or coolant. You can only see it when idled. You can easily get rid of the exhaust smoke by getting a nice aftermarket exhaust with new cats or just run cat-less, a popular mod. Vanos has been making noise. Brakes do squeak, probably no anti squeak grease on the pads (which have plenty of life on them). The car handles, stops, and accelerates like a proper BMW M3 should.
$2,200 cash by friday. PM with any questions.

The smoke can be head gasket issue am i correct? Any overheating issues? PM pictures of the damage and interior please.
The smoke is definitely not coolant burning or oil, its exhaust. I replaced almost all of the cooling system. The muffler underneath looks like its seen better days. Very little rust on this car. Maybe a tiny spot on the rear lower trunk lip and you can barely see it. I will PM you pictures now. Thank you.

Where is the car located?
valve stem gasket
Have not done a compression test. I dont believe it has low compression, the motor feels pretty strong.
Its located in Lansing, MI.
Bad catalytic converters can cause that. It looks like exhaust you would see on a cold winter day. I have seen/smelled cars that burn oil/coolant and I dont believe that is the case with this. I have had my BMW mechanic witness the smoking and he said it doesnt smell like coolant or oil.
