so......i own 1 of 27 alpine weiss verts with sand interior 5 speed?? is this for a certain year or just over all ever created? and does this count for 323's and 328's or just s pecific model?

Those numbers need some explaining. SCHWARZ is not an "individual" color and I have one of almost a dozen SCHWARZ on sand/beige verts near me

Sorry, didn't realize this thread was for all E36 convertibles. These numbers are for M3 convertibles with manual transmissions during the entire production run; '98 and '99.

Nope, no '95-97s.

So there were no Dakar verts ever produced. That just seems wrong to me. Not the table but that BMW never did it.

Glad to come across this; I knew my 99 manual vert M3 was a little bit rare (one of 2252) but when I read this the rarity became even more evident (1 of 20 - fern green with dove gray); wow, no wonder I never see one like mine; guess I'd better hang onto it

Dakar Yellow was indeed offered on the M3 Convertible.

OK.. I obviously was too drunk last night to see Dakargelb was the third color mentioned. Don't know how I missed that.

Well this Dakar M3 vert could be an auto tranny which would explain why it is not reflected on the chart.

From the chart, my estoril/magma is one of 14 which explains why I haven't seen another one like it.

Bringing up a old thread, but I also have 99 M3 convertible with a manual trans and Dove Grey interior. that make two out of the twenty that they built.

I thought BMW didn't release a breakdown of production numbers by color and gearbox?
