I ordered a new ribbon cable for my obc because on hot days the pixels would stop working but other than that the unit worked fine. When I tried to install the new cable onto the screen the soldering iron with T tip and silicone protector melted the cable so I decided to send it in. I sent my OBC to bavtek last week and got it back today. I plugged it in and 1/3 of the pixels don’t. I called bavtek and they said either I might have messed up the unit which I don’t think is the case because I was very careful taking it apart. Or the unit has a bad motherboard. I was wondering if anyone knows what could cause this? He offered for me to send it back or a refund. He said they have no way of testing it though so I’m skeptical of him being able to fix the problem. Any ideas would great. Thanks.

this is why you "Don't Try This At Home"
send it back to Bavtek, they might be able to make it 100%... "might"
