    cargo net behind seats

Ok so, normaly I have seat covers over the driver and passanger side and take them off periodicaly to clean/condiction. But now its just annoying the crap out of me and I can not find anything about this. Maybe I looked over it idk.

The nets are droopy ass all hell. How do I fix this? All the net seems to be in whole but dang.. someone put a brick in that or what? Mayve used it as a child seat... j/k j/k but realy....

    Thanks

remove seat b back "clam shell".
    remove trim.
tie a knot in the elastic for the top of cargo net.
    solved

I noticed the same on mine. I am going to give it a shot. Is it easy to remove the clam shells? Just snap into place? Just don't want to dig into it and break something.

Anyone else try this? I'm thinking about doing this but in one of the DIY's for seat cable repair it says something different.

My seats have a broken clamshell. I'm a go check it out and see if it's repairable so you know if you're risking breaking anything.

Hmm it's hard to see cause it's dark out, but it appears the net on my seats is held on by 5 plastic rivets and they've all broken on one side. Maybe it's repairable when you take the seat back apart? Not sure.

Thank you, I'm going to try and take apart one of my seats and see this upcoming week. Everything is so old and brittle I'm always leery about doing stuff like this!

Yep, the plastic tabs have broken off. It seems you could easily glue it or even thread a screw with a washer in it from the inside of the seat shell though.

This is what my cargo net looks like:

You can see it is loose on one side:

Because all four plastic tabs have broken:

All the tabs have an intact shaft that you could thread a screw into. Not sure if you guys even have the same cargo nets, but hey, can't have too much information, right?

I need to remove the clamshell and see what the tabs actually clip into on the inside. I have the sports seats and the cargo net actually look the same as yours.
