    Lightbulb Interested......Still make these?

Just got the P1421 Error code on my 1999 Z3 Roadster 2.8

Will this work on my Z3? Also, I am not sure where the connectors will be on this car, its very new to me. Is your asking price still what it's listed below? I am located in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Thanks!

Now available for pre-2003 e46 as well!

I'm now offering the best e36 secondary air pump simulator in a plug & play version that installs in 10 minutes with no wire cutting/splicing and no permanent modifications to your engine harness or O2 wiring!

Just unplug the secondary air pump, connect the SAP sim to its power connector then unplug both pre-cat O2 sensors and connect the SAP sim connectors to the O2 sensors connectors and engine harness O2 connectors.

These are higher quality than the other SAP sims out there:

-electronics sealed in epoxy for protection against moisture/vibration

-high-temperature, color-coded GXL wire cut to correct length and covered in wire loom

    -mounting tab for installation

    -individually tested

-money back guarantee: if you install properly on a m52 and have any issues you can return it for a full refund within 2 weeks of purchase

Also available without the o2 connectors (requires splicing) for $95 shipped - http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1864267

Yes, I have sims that will work on your Z3. They are different than the one pictured as your car likely has the M52TU engine, but it looks similar and the price is the same.

I'm pretty sure it is 11121438086 for the plate and 11727514860 for the gasket.

Looks like this is an option as well - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bmw-E36-M50-...6613e0&vxp=mtr

Thanks man. Does the car run exactly the same as stock when fully warmed up or does the simulator affect O2 readings at all times

It only affects O2 readings when the SAP pump should be on and the car is in open loop, so it will run exactly the same as stock at all temps.

Ok awesome. So all I need to use the air pump delete kit on stock s52 headers are blockoff plates, gaskets and your air pump delete kit right?

    Hey all,

I recently bought an M3 the Secondary Air Pump deleted and is using a AA SAP simulator. It still has the SAP valve (Item 14 below) in place but it is broken and seems to open during cold starts allowing the exhaust noise out of the valve. Its pretty loud and ugly sounding. I'd like to delete the valve.

It looks like the OEM block off plate is special order. Any idea what the lead times are?

I see bimmerworld has a block off plate for $35:
    http://store.bimmerworld.com/m50-egr...996-p1049.aspx

My question, though, is can the tubing that connects the vale to the headers be deleted as well?

I'd like to delete Item 17. Is this possible? If so what block off plates would i use to block the holes in the headers? Or am i misunderstanding and the block off plates above are intended to block the header holes so the piping can be removed?

I believe the plate that blocks off the valve is the same plate (x2) that can be used to remove the tubing and block off the ports on the headers. There is also a BMW part that I think will do the same.

If you are looking for a quick solution to your cold start noise just remove vacuum line #12 and cap it, that will prevent the valve from opening at all.

Actually, looking at the Bimmerworld part again, i realize there are two plates shown and plural gasketS. So it might be for the two header locations. Nice.

Good tip, on just plugging the vacuum line for now. Makes sense, thanks!
