Sent an e-mail to contact listed on Bimmerfest website a week ago trying to find out how they're going to run the track day. Haven't yet heard back.
Schedule shows two large blocks of time (AM & PM), but doesn't address run groups, length of sessions, etc.
I'm real interested (and like BeaveRun alot), but want some more details before plunking down coin.
Do you know details?

The track day will be run entirely by BeaveRun as a driver education. So if you are familiar with how they conduct their driver education courses, that's pretty much how it would be run.
Since we are limiting the day to only 60 cars, your track time should be quite significant. Although not set in stone, I would imagine they would run 15-20 cars at a time, broken down by skill level so as not to disrupt the flow.
Still waiting to hear the official answers from BeaveRun but I don't think it would be too different from that.

Bimmerfest East 2004: DRIVEN July 2-3
A simple one day affair could not properly commemorate the 5th anniversary of Bimmerfest East. So what did we do? We doubled the fun and made Bimmerfest East 2004: DRIVEN a TWO DAY extravaganza!
We will be hosting this year's event at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex located on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA. A world-class facility, BeaveRun is the ideal venue for Bimmerfest East. Here's an excerpt from their website:
We offer over 400 acres of world-class facilities, including two race tracks, with a third (the "South" track) under development, one of the country's top three karting centers and a six-acre vehicle testing and training area. Every facility at BeaveRun--including our spectator areas--has been designed to provide maximum enjoyment, excitement and above all, safety. Ongoing programs range from driver improvement and racing schools to our own BeaveRun Karting Series, as well as open track days, autocross and rallycross competitions.
