    Valve Cover Screw Covers

I have a 1996 BMW M3 and I purchased her used. She is missing the circle cap cover for one of the screws that hold down the valve cover. I belive there are two on the top one near the front of the car and another in the back near the windshield. I am missing the one by the windshield.

Links and sites or part numbers would be nice.

    Thanks

you can get them at bavauto.com. I'm not sure if they are the same like the ones on non m3 6cyl engine.

I paid like $2.15 at the dealer for one that was missing when I bought my car. Today I noticed another one missing, and foudn it off to the side witha broken clip... you may want to buy more than one....

I once thought the same about a little plastic bushing that went in my clutch pedal linkage for my 1988 Ford Truck. I went to the dealer in about 2005 for one thinking it might run about .25. The parts guy said, " man, that truck is old!" and wasn't sure they'd have one. He searched his part numbers and turned out he had 2. He asked, do I want them both?

I said sure, how much? He replied $19+ I said no thanks, I'll take 1. I shoulda gone to the junk yard.

Here is the parts diagram and a number of the bushings shown.
