Tow Hook Question

Where is the tow hook stored?
Just purchased an 03 that didn't come with books or tools.
I have purchased books and tool kit and now want to make sure the hook is not hiding somewhere before I order one.

I bought my 2004 Z4 used and in my case it actually did come with an owner's manual. Interesting what you can learn when you read the manual. When I read the applicable section just now I found that in fact I do have a tool kit, stowed in the trunk, just to the rear of the battery. And it contains the tow hook that you refer to. I've had the car for a couple of years now and never realized it was there because it is somewhat hidden. Maybe if you look close in the same spot on your car it might be there. But if you already bought the tool kit then the tow hook should be in there I would think, if it is the standard OEM kit.

The tool kit I purchased did not have the tow hook in it. I guess I will order one.

How about on an ///M ? There is no floor panel as the battery is stored in the trunk, right side behind a cover and large metal brace.
