Baurspotter
This car has been for sale for a while down in Georgia, but..... either I never carefully read it over, or the seller has recently re-written the ad. He claims it is one of 44 Baur Targas built by Baur without authorization from BMW.
This is the first I have heard of this. Anyone know anything about it?

Does anyone know if Baur affixed a serial # plate to the 02's like they did on the E21's and E30's ?

I am pretty sure Tom looked at this car out in CO for me a few years ago. Never heard of the "unauthorized" Baurs. I think someone said it is missing the tabs to secure the roof in the trunk.
