Just a quick post to say thanks to those that attended and helped support Der Schuh Syndikat. Tony Parrish - our event photographer took thousands of pictures, and I'm sure everyone else did too. (except for me- I was a bit busy-LOL). Anyway, post up your pictures/photo album links here, along with comments, cheers and jeers.

Just finished washing up the coupe from the return trip and putting her away. Hopefully tomorrow I get some time to edit and upload my shots. Was a great event and a huge thanks to Eric for organizing it! Can't wait to come back again for next year.
More of Tony's shots, now on the FB page.. share, tag, comment.

Another big "thank you" to Eric. Great event. I especially enjoyed mcoupemindy's differential teardown and refresh demo.
Looking forward to next year.
A big thanks to Eric for organizing this event. I'm sure we will all be bringing more people next year with us.
Damn! Hopefully, I will make it next year ... sounds like fun.
The event was awesome. And that lightbar was a fitting touch.... it was worth the trip just to watch the local traffic pulling over for the flying funeral procession of elf hearses.
/.randy
Next year everyone should get Tshirst with their screen names and avatars... Randy, next year bring your roady too
How many coupes ended up coming?
Hmm, there's another Titanium Silver coupe following me. Shifty.
And driven by a grizzly bear.
Getting wet on the way home.
Clint cooking the S52's oil on the way home.
And I really need one of these.
Besides the Dakar coupe that got the roof wrapped and some dyno pulls, what did you all do down there? Charlotte is a little too far for me- went to the ALMS race instead.

Heres the article I'm still working on to include more details and trying to get some videos up of some of the demos and such up.
There was social, car meet with probably 400-500 cars, dyno and demos, raffle, dinner, and then optional mountain run on the way back Sunday for those interested.

Lots of Z3 stuff!
We had 9 coupes in attendance, plus 2 more local and unregistered that showed up at various points in the day, a couple roadies and a few other Bimmers in the mix.
The furthest travellers were: Keyscoupe from the south, Mscire2 from the north.
@CleanerPA - I planned this as a whole weekend event, and we drove between venues. Bench racing/shop talk on Friday evening - some of us ended up at a nearby establishment, where some karaoke video was taken. (not yet shared)
Saturday we headed to Charlotte Cars and Coffee, in train behind my Coupe sporting the rare Whelen Edge lightbar mod, courtesy of usalightbar.com . CnC is pretty much the biggest cruise in the region, It was a little light because of the heat, but there were still several hundred cars there, including an Original AC Cobra, Lambo's, Ferraris, 911's and the obligatory muscle car crowd.
We left there at 1130 - headed to CES for the dyno/demo.
Mcoupemindy did a Differential Demo. We ran several coupes on the dyno, and had raffles to support the charity. ZSCCA was on hand, as was Prince wheels and BimmerBum.com..
We headed to Dinner at a German Resturant at 6. Good Food, excellent beer, great company and a few more giveaways.
Then back to the hotel - more shop talk in the parking lot, and again a few ended up at the same local establishment for Billiards and drinks.
Sunday had a Mountain Drive scheduled, but everybody headed home instead.
A few things happened that weren't really planned at all: Networking, teaching, learning and friendship. THAT is the priceless stuff that makes all the planning worthwhile.
Thanks everybody! Post your stories guys!
