FS: Poly bush repair kit for LAD shocks

Some might remember that the bushes at the bottom of the LAD shocks made of rubber are vulcanized onto the inner metal tube. No spare for these available, it is also not possible to separate the metal bush and the rubber.
Now here comes the new version, especially made. We are testing soon some sets on 750iL with LAD. These bushes only fit on LAD shocks, NOT on EDC and normal shocks.

Material Polyurethane PUR Shore 80. The production is not that easy. Poly needs to be cooled with liquid nitrogen before it can be machined on a lathe. The steel bushes are made of special, high resistant steel used for example also for injectors in large scale diesel engines and can stand several thousands of bar.
The new bushings are 2-piece, which are an easy fitment, do not need to be pressed in. Yes, the only really difficult part is removing the old bushings.

Shogun, do these fit on early and late model struts. Been told my 740 uses a different strut than the pre '92 models, and don't know if this affects the size of the bushes or not. I am interested if they do, as one of mine is shot!

they will work on E34 and E32 LAD/SLS shocks. NOT fitting to EDC shocks I believe (not yet tested). These have been made in 2 batches now, 2012 and 2014. Now another batch has been made. Size for the lower hex bolt is always the same over all production years, M14X1,5X85

Here pics, ready installed. Important is that the original metal shell in the bottom eye remains, so only remove the rubber and the center sleeve
