Running cables, how to access??

I want to run a fiber optic link from my ES Sony radio to the ES Sony Digital Processor on the left side of my 97 M3/4.

How do I access and remove the plastic panels along the left side of the door sills to the back of the car?

The door sill is held on with plastic body clips. They're a bitch to get out and you may have to replace them if they get too buggered up in the process. As far as I know, the dealer is the only place you can get them.

I think I want to remove the plastic panels along side the inside of the door sill??

Are they removable?

How is that done?
