Pick me an audio system upgrade for 2001 Z3 3.0

My 2001 Z3 3.0 has the stock HK audio system and no bass whatsoever. Please pick me a new deck, speakers, sub, etc that will make my Roady sound awesome.

In my '98 M Roadster I have a CD43, GROM Bluetooth, Integral Audio 80S 8" sub and enclosure (between the roll bars) driven by a Fosgate Punch P200/2 , Bav Auto stage 1 speaker replacements, and the HK amp driving all but the sub. Sounds awesome.

Thank you. I've been wanting an upgrade for awhile...I think my budget is $1,000 but you know how that works.
