Anybody removed their front sway bar?

Even with E36 swaybar links my front sway bar scrapes on everything. It's the lowest point on my front end. I'd like to remove it completely while I'm freshening up the suspension. Any of you lowlifers ride around without a swaybar? I want to make sure my steering wheel won't shimmy at about 50mph.

If you want it out.....just let it grind away.
Oddly my track pipe then frame hit before the front swaybar.

Then again, dont listen to me.
I kinda dont give a shit anymore when i hear stuff scrape.

You might as well ... you're more than likely sitting on bumpstops, your control arms are way past the point of being parellel to the ground... how negative of an impact could removing the sway bar have on top of everything else?

I've been riding around without my swaybar for the last couple months. I build a custom Megan Racing suspension for my e28 and haven't gotten my new end links yet. Honestly I can't hardly tell I don't have it except taking freeway ramps really fast.

I don't mind the grindin', it's everyone else that gets scared when they hear it. My car goes swaybar, oil pan, frame.

I'd go to vwvortex if I was removing the swaybar from my girls TT. This is the Sittin' Low subforum, isn't it?

Hopefully not as negative as your attitude

Any shake in the steering wheel at about 45-50 mph?
