FS: Bolt-in 4-pt Roll bar for E36 Convertible NorCal)

4-pt bar custom fabricated by TC Design in Milpitas CA.

Has cleared tech multiple times at BMW CCA, NASA and private events at Thunderhill, Buttonwillow, Laguna and Infineon/Sears Pt. (I'm 6'2")

Bolts in under rear seat- Nothing visible when bar is removed and rear seat is installed.

Roof clears bar perfectly-no interference whatsoever up or down.

You'll need to have 4 bolt-in points installed, then you'll finally be able to track your convertible. -There's absolutely nothing like open-air track time.

    $1,000

The bar cost 2,200 to have fabricated. I think a grand is fair.

You can likely find a hack to build you something that will take you an hour to put in and out using hammers and crowbars... and/or is built so that if you do ever really need it, it folds like a paper drinking straw. "haha"

For me, a well built bar made sense. If not for you... No worries-all the best.

How's Sunday some time before 11am?

And, forgive the directness in this, but are you serious about it or just kicking the idea around? (Sorry, I have 3 kids who generally keep me pretty busy on the weekends.)

Just FYI- I sold the car I had it built for, so you,ll see the bar, but not the fit.

Finally, I'd recommend you chat with tony at tcdesigns in milpitas as he built the bar and would have a good perspective on how it functions. (Other than buying the bar from him I have no relationship with t designs.)

Please use johnorbon (@) sbcglobal (dot) net to schedule from here on. Thanks-

thought I might as well try, doesn't hurt to ask right ?

Do you still have the roll bar? I would be very serious about purchasing if it were so many years later..

Can you post pictures of the bolt in roll bar you had. I am trying to make something similar and it would help a lot to have your pictures to reference. Thanks
