Its a nice nice car with some time and money put into it. It looks great and the wheels are hot.

Both are pretty terrible, but there's a difference:

R3V guys are douchebags because it's fun, and most are harmless. Since the majority of E30 guys are broke, they hate on things they can't afford.

Bimmerforums is full of nut swinging tools that think they're experts on everything. The Forced Induction section has even been ruined by the like.

Everyone here loves the car. It's just that the tail lights look absolutely terrible. It takes it from a classy quality modification to rice-factory. Am I blowing it far out of proportion? Absolutely, because its amusing.
