That engine bay looks so empty now :sad
I hate to be that guy and not sort through dozens of pages..but can anybody give a quick rundown of what the engine has had tweeked to gain about 70 hp..besides exhaust and intake work and a programmer and MAF?
I seem to remember cam work, but..

I'm 99% sure that power figure is the seller's highly optimistic estimate (you know, when you add up all of the maximum possible crank hp gains that mods are claimed to make). I don't know what a WAR-chipped B40 should make, but with the free-flow exhaust I don't think ~315 or so crank is out of the question. I will of course defer to any bolt-on M60 experts.
This thing is clean, but it's still got 181k miles on the chassis and I don't think it's going to attract a collector willing to splash down $15k+. I'd be overjoyed to land something that clean anything near $10k.
Also wondering what the silver reservoir is on the right. My only guess is an oil catch can (judging by the hose leading to it from the PCV plate), but I don't see a breather vent or any routing to the intake.
EDIT: It may be routed to the exhaust

The boosted history and tuning issues devalues it for me, but if that weren't the case, that's a clean-azz, perfectly maintained M60 E34. I'll put it this way, it would probably cost close to $15k to get any M60 E34 up to that level (cosmetics, body, driveline, suspension, interior).
I wish I knew where the supercharger setup went. Would work nicely on my daily.

I have gixxer's old supercharger setup now but what the seller failed to mention when selling a "full supercharger kit" that i recognized from gixxer's posts was its missing the ac compressor/supercharger bracket and he said he included the miller chip in the dme opened it up and there's no miller chip in there. So be very careful when dealing with this seller. Not trying to bash on him, just explaining my experience.

I still miss my old 540i/6 M-Sport, but having a lot of fun with my X5M.
Of course I am modding it!
I've added Pure Stage 2 turbos, RK Carbon fiber intakes, Akrapovic full titanium exhaust, Active Autowerkes stage 2+ tune, ADV1 wheels, Carbon interior trim, flat bottomed steering wheel and AVIN system! Last dyno run produced 596hp/614tq at the wheels! Its a Monster, yet civilized enough that my wife can drive it!
I also bought a brand new 2017 M4 F83 Competition Package Convertible last spring...
It has carbon front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, H&R Springs, Meistershaft GTC exhaust and Signature SV302S wheels.

As much as I try I can’t get excited about the x5m. I have to get my mrs something to replace her dead Land Rover. We will prob downsize to an RS3 wagon or something similar. They are probably not the greatest dynamic package but when driving the daily commute, it’s probsbly a nice traffic light warrior. She even drives my e34 occasionally as the supercharged setup with the front mounted intercooler is going really well but she complains about the lack of ac in the hot weather. .
Its a pity u never got the best out of your e34. It was probably only a stand-alone computer and/or a maf repositioning away from being a weapon. The intercooler on top of the radiator was always going to get heat soak as well. Putting it below or in front of the radiator would have been better.
Anyway im glad u are enjoying your new toys.
