Halo Rings Dim on 1 Side

Question. I have the Depo Euro ellipsoids w/ angel eyes. My halo rings are dim on the left side and I can't figure it out. My headlights are fine and the fuse is new. Is there a bulb(s) to replace?

Are depos using an LED to power up the rings cus if so that may be your problem. Other then that i would check the light source itself what ever it may be that lights up your rings.

check the connections to see if they are all secure. Did you have to wire them up to your parking lights? That could be the problem.

My parking lights are bright. The connection is fine. I put a new connector. Is there an led bulb. The headlights are fine. The rings glow very dim.

Check the ground wire. I had a light on my old car that was dim and even changing the bulb I had no luck. It ended up being a bad ground wire connection. After cleaning the ground and putting it back together the bulb was bright again.

Just an idea.

I was told its because it might be cold out and they need some time to warm up. Same thing has happened to me. I actually just hit my headlight and for some reason it just went bright again. I dont think its anything to do with the wiring.

When you hit the light what do you think is happenning? The wires are vibrating becasue of the hit and maybe you got lucky to get the wire that is causing the problem to move and start working again.

How do you change the led bulbs? Do I go from the back of the head lamp or from the front through the glass? There should be an easy way to get to these since they will go bad eventually. I am going to remove the whole lamp and try to change the led bulbs. I will check connections in the lamp itself. I tried new headlight bulbs and tried reconnecting the red wire with a new tap connector. That didn't work. I am open for all options.

Mlove, you stated you looked over the red wire which that should be power but i dont think that is the problem becasue you have power there. The lights are on but they are dim. Well if the ground is also cleaned and connected well then it sounds like the led's like you stated or somthing internal.

Does anyone know where and what LED bulbs to get for the hyper white angel eyes in the Depo ellipsoids? What is the volts or watts? I've got to fix this problem.

Have you inquired about this with the supplier or manufacturer of the part? They will be able give you better assistance.

Ok MLOVE..

Take out your headlight assembly. Take it all apart and make sure the connections are good.. the LED is on the top portion of the angel eyes.. you can change them out for different colored ones all you want..

For halloween I am goign to have orange and green LEDs.. for Xmas .. red and green!
