    Hey guys,

I have the Canadian 2007 323i, which comes with projector-less headlights . I am looking to install the projector headlight unit (complete with halos) and then get some HID lights to go with it. I was wondering if anyone on this thread has done that conversion before and what do people think of aftermarket headlight units? The price seems to be right on ebay (~$200 +shipping for the set).

Any info would be much appreciated.

    Colin

I've heard lots of generally good stories about buying aftermarket headlights off ebay.

I'd say go with OEM, ebay companies are never going to make something of the same quality, and for the love of god don't get anything with cheezy LEDs everywhere if you do decide to go ebay.

check partouts on here and maXbimmer.com, or you could message one of the vendors there who part out cars.

Yea, OEM would definitely be better quality, although they are usually $$$$$. However, if I can find the right deal it could be worth it. Also, I would never get those LED ones. I saw those on Ebay... They look good on Audi, but they look SUPER tacky on BMW... I don't know what people are thinking...

Yea, I have seen some that look decent. Sometimes the price looks too good to be true though and I was just wondering if there were ones to avoid. I don't want to get rubbish headlights.

    Thanks! I'll check it out.

Jebus, this is the most action I've seen in teh Canada forums in a while...and from NS of all places.

I couldn't have seen more than 4 different BMWs when I was living in Halifax...Mainly because their dealership is fucking horrible.

Hibernation is over, we have come out to play.

    - Also, just got a set of pro-kit Eibach springs (front / back). 1" - 1.5" drop

    Haha do it.
I've got to get a bit bigger springs for the back, rubbing too hard.
Drives like a dream on the highway however!

Not sure about the e36, but the e30 had thicker spring pads you could swap in to fix this sort of thing. Its definitely cheaper than new springs.

I never thought of this! Going to do some fender work and possibly this afterwards if need be.

Definitely roll the fenders if you haven't already, go easy and use a heat gun.
