Great build! Any plans for the glove box delete panel you made or just wanted it gone?

Thanks! I just made it to clean up the interior since I took the actual glove box out. I may have to modify it a bit after I take the glove box frame out, but I still plan to use it.

Dent fixed, new shift knob, and a proper alignment complete. Just waiting on the LTW wing and fire extinguisher mount now.

Unfortunately the HPDE events filled up faster than I expected. I guess I will stick to the open lapping days for now.

I ended up getting a spot to run in a HPDE this saturday. I can't wait to get it out on the track. I should have the LTW wing back tomorrow, so I will update the thread with pictures. I am also having a trailer made so that I wont have to drive it to the track.

Here is the track that I will be driving this weekend:

Do you have any comparison of your times compared to the 302?

I'm not that concerned with the weight of the OEM bar. I was most interested in knowing if the Hotchkis bar is really 8 lbs as advertised.

Awesome vid! One of my fav builds on the forums. PS: how do you like that steering wheel? I've never have driven a car with a smaller wheel like that, can you elaborate on the steering feel and advantages of a newer wheel like this over OEM? I'm guessing being smaller there is less diameter and thus easier to turn. Thanks!

I love it! It requires much less turning to get where you need to be. There is also less slop in the steering, IMO. That is likely due to other things though. It just feels much better in your hands, especially while racing. However, it does cover just the top of the gauge cluster.

The hotchkis front 33.2mm swaybar weighs 13lbs.
