What a satisfying journey... lookin good!
Tires are mounted on the FL-5s. I did a test fit just to see how they will look. 20mm spacers will be added on all 4 corners in order for everything to clear. Just waiting on the Big Duck Club over-fenders and everything will move right along! I have a ton of parts to go on, but none of them are very time consuming to install. The car HAS to be 100% complete by July 15th, so the countdown is on!

MKAH Motorsports hood vents cut and ready for powder coating. I will be utilizing the standard version on my car.
MKAH Motorsports dead pedal cut to accommodate the roll cage.
Everything but the fenders are mocked up now. After they are painted, this should wrap up pretty quickly. I have a ton of parts waiting to go on tomorrow and this weekend, so there are a lot of updates on the way!

20mm spacers are on... still waiting for the fenders
Amber was a better look. I'll take the ambers from you lol

Assembled and installed the MKAH Motorsports rear diffuser. Its powder coated for a durable finish, unlike others. The fins also drop in from above for a smooth underside. Great piece and addition.
Lining it up before mounting it.
Cut the final version of the MKAH Motorsports V3 door panels
Installed the Sparco EVO 2 US seat
Its going to look great!
I will get some. It stops right before the diff and wraps around the rear tire well. I think its a better design because it doesnt allow any air to get between the diffuser and the body, like many other options. You can't beat the price either.

Finished up the diffuser install.
Next up are the MKAH Motorsports side skirts and race splitter
Do the splitter hangers mount to the sway bar mount locations?

They do not. They mount to the frame rail.

MKAH Motorsports race splitter installed. Very easy to do and looks great. Extremely solid once mounted.
Fits nice and snug to my oil cooler
2.75" lip, but can be extended to ~3.5" or reduced to ~2"
MKAH Motorsports side skirts on
MKAH Motorsports rear tire guards added to reduce drag
Cant wait to see it with the fenders mounted with your side skirt extensions.
I am excited to see it all finished up as well! Unfortunately, if the fenders do not get here this week, they won't be getting done for a long time... which means I might just sell them and the rims and try again next summer. I definitely don't want to just have the parts sitting around for a year. I was expecting to complete that stuff weeks ago.

Ah thats a bummer. I really hope you can get it done cuz thats one of the setups I was planning on possibly running.
Epic build thread. Shame on the car not getting the track use time is deserves.
MKAH Motorsports door panels installed. The integrated door pulls that come with them will definitely make it much more practical for street use than it was before (with bare door skins).
Perfect fit with the cage.
MKAH Motorsports battery box installed.
Mocking up the MKAH Motorsports standard hood vents. This is probably my favorite addition to the car thus far!
Let the cutting commence!
Install complete! Loving the race splitter and vent combo.
MKAH Motorsports floor pans back in
All done and ready for some fuel!
I must say I am very happy with how it has turned out. I'm blessed to live in a city with smooth roads, so I honestly do not mind the 800/900 spring setup either; granted that I'm only driving it 1 to 10 miles at a time.
Running without doors will certainly keep you cool!
Fenders are here and I will be getting to work this weekend.

hands down the best e36 build on here.. (imho obviously)
nothing but inspiration for my future track build.
cant wait to see more!
Been eyeing the MKAH website since I bought my 328i sedan a few weeks ago. I've already stripped the interior and ordered some parts to revive the M52. Plans for now are to do a manual swap and race prep the interior. Still not sure if I want to build for a class or go balls out LS swap for drift. Great inspiration though definitely looking forward to seeing more.
It took a while to get to this stage, but its done! The Big Duck Club overfenders are installed and look great.
Test fitting them for the first time
They do require some trimming to line up perfectly and look clean on the car. This is not hard work, but it does require some time.
Paint complete! The match is spot on.
Starting this was extremely painful. I had cold feet and had to sleep on it.
Cutting complete. Just needs welding now!
Because I decided to run such an aggressive offset and large tires, trimming the front and rear bumpers was required to prevent the tire from rubbing.
Test fitting everything before installing them.
All done! I am extremely happy with how the install turned out.
