those look like Michelin super sports
These look fantastic, proper tire sizing and fit for performance. So much better than those ridiculous "stanced" cars where the tires roll off the rim with one good corner.
Can't believe I missed out on this GB. These wheels are exactly what I've been looking for. 17x9.5 all around on 255's? Hell yes.
Moving on up.
Moar!
Here's a shot of the front clearance with 255/40/17 on 17x9.5 with a 12mm spacer. I have about -2.5 camber up front. Slight rub in the front under hard cornering. I think a roll in the front fenders will fix it.
If I somehow find some extra time, I ll take some more shots.

Any more of this?
I put them on today. Still need to lower it down a bit.
Excuse the dirty ride. She is in the shop right now because...S54
Made some changes:
-TCK 7" 500lb front springs on the PSS9 and 500lb in the the rear as well (huge difference from pss9 springs)
-Reversed upper strut mounts
The height adjusters are threaded all the way to the top on the front struts with no helper springs. I don't think I can / want to go any lower without rubbing the height adjuster or destroying my fenders.
The rear is as low as it can go with the height adjusters in.
I still want to fit a 10mm spacer in the rear so its the same as the front but it's going to be really tough.
Why do you keep complaining about why other people went with a 9.5"? If you are happy with your "perfect fitment" with a car higher than the empire state building then so be it.
And if you knew anything about these cars, you would know that the suspension setup is optimal at -2.5 degrees of camber up front.

Anyways, kliris. Carry on.

^^ +1 your car is pretty high up there, and -2.5 is not bad at all, I rubbed with -2.1 on my 245 on 9" wheels, find it hard your running stock camber.. but then again your, well.. high. -2.8 and the car handles much much better and no rubbing at all.
lower it
I plan to. High as the empire state building? I like to find a happy medium between looks and performance. Not just looks. I don't want to be that guy going sideways over speedbumps and scraping entering the driveway. Im already lowered but plan on doing tcklines down the road. Msilvia I asked why people went with a 9.5 over a 9". What's the point? If there's a benefit to it, I just want to know what it is, that's all.
