He's pretty set on the price... I've tried to negotiate but no luck unfortunately. You'd have to be mad to pay that much for just the door card trims and dash trim IMO, especially since the wood is exclusive to the 840 Japan individual, which gets the full wood trim (and full leather interior) as standard.

Some of the leather is actually faux leather on the J specs. Namely the dash and parts of the door trim.

correct, but easy to use the existing leather panels and put the wood pieces on.

I have full set and tested it on an old panel...... remove part of the leather and foam, drill holes.... it just bolts on..... no need for a complete set with the panels.
The "special" panels are exactly the same (compared them) as the standard panels, just half the leather and some holes.
You can just bolt them off and put on any panel.....

The problem is not in finding the panel, its finding the wood

I've been looking for a full set for years to pop up, no luck... I remember one for sale on US eBay a couple years ago which I secured and agreed the price with the seller, then it was posted on the forums and someone offered more than double the amount and he didn't reply back.

Still looking if anyone is willing to sell. Shoot me a PM if you have a set lying around

I have a full set.......light wood (center, ashtray, underdash and doors), will not yet sell it. I have it as an option on the CSI that's for sale, I did not put it in because it was not delivered that way.
Already been offered lots of money for it several times, seems to be even rarer than an alpina 18" set !

840Ci 6 speed conversion... Some cheesy mods by previous owner, but current owner has done some nice work with a 6 spd conversion and 4.4L block conversion. Orient blue (resprayed though).
