Interesting find and looks well made. The thought of visible screw heads does not really work for me personally, but I am sure someone else will find it goes nicely in their car.
What "thumbs up" really means
To each his/her own, but I've never found this 'add on' style wood products to look good. If you can't go with the original BMW parts (which are nearly impossible to find), then I think the water-printed style like the ones DriftGirl is making are a great alternative.

My car actually has a kit very similar to this installed, courtesy of the previous owner. Mine uses adhesive instead of screws, is lighter in color, and is much more complete - there are pieces to cover up nearly everything, including the coin holders and other parts not shown in that one. I've never been a huge fan of it honestly, since the kit pieces are flat and you can see the curves of the original black plastic pieces underneath the appliques around the edges. Plus, the piece around the phone pocket / hazard switch on mine fell apart, and a replacement is not available anywhere at any price. I'd rather have a stock plastic set honestly, but can't really justify the cost to replace all of it at the moment so I'm living with it for now.
There has been some success in the painting of interior pieces, if removal of your wood trim leaves evidence. Much cheaper than replacing all of the pieces, and some of the pieces are NLA.

I like mines, I integrated a similar pair of tower plates into this easy project several years ago which mounts perfectly, I still need to finish polishing and maybe paint, Forgot i had it til seeing this post.
Ends are T100 Steel
Great. More stuff that I think I need. Doesn't seem to matter if I really do need it or not, just the idea that won't go away.

You only need the Shock tower plates, "Mandatory on these cars", Or you can look forward to fixing and paying the cost later of repairing the shock tower/s, Especially on lowered cars.
Don't want to derail the thread, but what's the current source for those rear shock tower plates?

It looks correct to me, here's another BMW in mint green:

It's a pretty outrageous color, but then again the 850CSi is an outrageous car. I'd totally drive it.
