Looks like the $7225 bidder 'walked' on this one. Now - relisted on eBay.

Minimum bid may STILL be too high for this car!

I've often wondered why so many car auctions on eBay end with non-paying bidders. It makes me wonder how many of the bids were actually legitimate. The problem with eBay is there is nothing to prevent a seller from having their friends make multiple bids to drive up the price. Unfortunately for them this tactic only pays off if they aren't the last ones holding the bag.
Karma's a b1tch!
THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT AND OFFERS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY PRIOR COLLISION DAMAGE.Lie la lie
lie la lie la la la la la la
lie la lie...
Right! They just spray painted over the passenger side nose cone damage and zip tied the bumper back up so it's not dragging on the ground. How someone would feel ok to advertise a car with a "very straight body" is beyond me. Anyone who goes and sees the car in person will NOT be fooled. It's even worse as this is a "dealer" not a private sale...
No Evidence? Isn't a Carfax evidence? That's how you pull out if you win. You can't say you HAVE to buy it if they misrepresent it.

What a beauty and very low miles too. Look at the asking price...that's got to say something about the condition of the car doesn't it?
Hacked up pretty good!

I've seen this 'crew' who decide to destroy E31s in a similar fashion on insta... Why? Its not like its now good at something... its not an E30, still can't drift, and definitely is not fun to drive with that suspension geometry. Looks like **** too.
Only vaguely interested in how they installed KW coilovers into an E31, I'm guessing they where originally for an E34 modified to fit. Great choice on the H&R rear springs

Superb looking car, with all the Dinan goodies and very low mileage.
Colour is not so rare as stated by the seller - there were 1395 8ers produced in Orient Blue and 176 of these were US-delivered cars.
To my eyes, those wheels don't look quite right.....not sure if it's the wrong offsets, incorrect tire profile, the deeply dished rims, or a combination of all three. Anyone else think they look a little strange?

If anyone has an extra $88,000 laying around, there is one of the very best Dinan 8 examples for sale on ebay. Its a 1997 850Ci that appears to have the Stage III twin turbo package along with the Stage III suspension and brake packages. It only has 23,000 miles on the clock and looks amazing.

After the SuperCoupe, this might be the very best Dinan 8 built... what a beauty!
5.6 liter M70 huh?
5.4 liter M73 actually....
Have you actually spoken with the owner? Without seeing the actual Dinan build sheet, there's no way to tell what stage this build is...
Nice care, yes... $80k+ car? doubtful
So, that's where this car gets interesting. Is it really a SIII car or is it a SII? The HP numbers that the owner is quoting would make it a Stage III TT.
All of the SIII cars I have seen were 5.0L M70's converted to 5.6L. This obviously started life as a 5.4L M73.
I have reached out to the owner for more info and will report back.
As you said... great car... but $88k?!?!

Looks like a really nice car. Not sure about the asking price.
